Free photo editing software
I purchased the awesome XSitePro (website building software), but didn't have Corel or PhotoShop to make my own website headers.
I found a FREE program called PhotoPlus. You can go here to download it.
This is not shareware or a trial version. It's completely FREE. Can't beat that :-)

So excited about Real Estate course!!
I've recently read Ron LeGrand's "How To Be A Quick Turn Real Estate Millionaire (Without Cash Or Credit)". It was an awesome book, but I needed a lot more how-to info. I tried winning his Cash Flow System on eBay, but it was way out of my price range. His website sells it for $1500, and eBay auctions for it close out at over $300.
I did win an auction for one of Ron LeGrand's star students to mentor me and provide unique letters to mail to property owners. His name is Victor Favela. He's a super nice guy, and responds prompty to all inquiries I have.
I told him I wasn't able to get the Cash Flow System - and he actually offered me his for a VERY good deal. I'm SO excited!! This is all I've needed to get started.
Actually...I took action after reading the book I mentioned above, and had a seller interested in a lease option or option, but I didn't have the forms and extra how-to information to complete the deal. This stuff REALLY works!!
I'll keep ya updated on how everything goes :-)

Free legal forms
Anyone who knows me knows that I'm always researching something online. Recently I have been helping a loved one to file his own bankruptcy. (Yes, you can actually do that and in most cases do better than an attorney - for free!).
I just came across a site (for Indiana) where they have the free legal forms for a variety of things (like divorce, contempt, name change, etc.). This is a big deal, considering you have to pay upwards of $35 (or more) for these forms online or offline. Go here to check it out.

Aerial gets a new kitty cat :-)
Aerial (my 9 yr old daughter) lost her cat three weeks ago. Cocoa was her name. She was a beautiful long-haired dark brown (almost black) six month old cat. Aerial was just sick over it....
After three weeks of hanging posters and going door to door, and no word we figured someone probably had her and didn't want to give her up (or worst).
David found a free kitten's ad in the paper today, and they were long-haired!! We called immediately but got voicemail. The lady called me back this evening and I told Aerial she could go with me to look at a BowFlex (wink, wink).
We arrived at the wealthy womans house (the indicator was the BMW and Mercedes in the driveway of this gorgeous two story home). When we walked into this beautiful home, the first thing we saw was her Ab Lounge. It was perfect - she really thought we were there for a piece of exercise equipment (ha!)
I said to the woman "Hi, we're here for the BowFlex" and winked at her. She told her son to go get "them" and he arrived with three adorable fluffy little kittie witties.
She said to Aerial, "Do you want one of these?"... Aerial's eyes got as big as half dollars and she looked at me as to say "Can I, Mom?".
The lady and I just laughed at her expression (for a few minutes). I told her we were there for her to get a new kitten, not a BowFlex. She picked out the adorable orange striped one. We think it's a girl, but we're not sure (because it's so darn fluffy).
Aerial told me she loved me all the way home :-) She named her new kitten Sunshine.

Write about what you know and get free exposure for your biz
Yep, it's true. You can write about what you know and get free exposure for your business. It's called article marketing. You don't have to be a professional writer either. There are tons of things you know about that others need to know.
Here's how it works: You write an article about something you know (I wrote about getting your $$ back if you've been scammed or didn't receive what you paid for. I knew this topic from my former banking career). You submit your article to www.LadyPens.com
At the bottom of your article you get to include a little about yourself and up to three links.
You may be wondering who is going to use your article. Simple. Webmasters are constantly looking for fresh content for their websites. They use your article for free, and you get exposure and more traffic to your own site in the process. Neat, huh?

It's tough explaining death to children....
The kids can't understand why Hannah and Madison had to die. This is one of the toughest conversations I have ever had with my children....
The best explanation I could offer was that God took Fred, Madison, and Hannah so they wouldn't have to suffer here on Earth anymore.
My kids saw the way Angel treated Fred and the twins. They know how abusive she was to them. They truly were suffering a great deal of pain, and had been for quite some time.... Even if Fred left Angel, he would have never been truly free from her. She would torment him for the rest of his life and would end up using the girls as pawns in her sick game.
Fred truly loved Angel. He saw her for the woman God made her to be...even though she was not yet that woman. He had faith that God would change her, and that someday she would allow the change to take place.
I am not sure if Angel set that fire or not....and I don't know if we will ever know the truth about it. I know the police are still doing a heavy investigation. I know the excellorant test was negative. I know they ruled the cigarette out as the cause of the fire. I know the sherriff I spoke to said they were thinking it may have been electrical. (Fred had all new wiring put in before they moved into the home three years ago....)
There are so many unanswered questions....so many things I wish I knew..... I have never lost someone close to me (outside of Aunt Nettie - but she was 84 and it was a lot different).
This has made me open my eyes to how short life really is. How at any moment God could call you home (if your home is to be with Him.....I hope everyone reading this knows for sure where they would go if they were to die right now).
It makes those little things a lot less irritating (like Elijah throwing the whole stinkin' roll of toilet paper in the toilet or wetting it just to see what it'll do).
